I am having problems with compling java code generated from multiplication xquery in the xquery samples. I have gone to the options and under the java virtual machine pressed the auto detect button. I also add to my classpath the following:
* This class requires the following items in the classpath.
* C:\Program Files\Stylus Studio 2006 XML Enterprise Edition\sources
* C:\Program Files\Stylus Studio 2006 XML Enterprise Edition\bin\CustomFileSystem.jar
* C:\Program Files\Stylus Studio 2006 XML Enterprise Edition\bin\saxon8sa.jar
* C:\Program Files\Stylus Studio 2006 XML Enterprise Edition\bin\xml-apis-xerces-2.7.1.jar

when I try to compling the program I get 3 error messages. I am attaching
the output from the log. Can anyone tell how to correct this problem?

Gary,
I can see a couple of problems:

#1: you have javac.exe in your CLASSPATH, which triggers the first error "error reading C:\PROGRA~1\Java\JDK15~1.0_0\bin\javac.exe; java.util.zip.ZipException: error in opening zip file"

#2: you have some saxon.jar file in your default CLASSPATH that is probably an older version than what the generated code relies on ("C:\saxon\..."). That's probably causing the compilation errors. To fix that, I would suggest that you bring up the Java Virtual Machine Options page (Tools>Options), and change the classpath setting to ignore the default classpath; the easiest way to do that is renaming ${Classpath} into ${Classpath_}. Once you do that, Stylus Studio will rely exclusively on the project level CLASSPATH settings that the Java code generator should have set to already include the required entries, and you shouldn't get any further error.
