SSDN AdminSubject: The Java Virtual Machine is required to use this feature. Java Runtime Environment library not found.
Author: SSDN Admin

Wondering what this error message means? (and how to fix it?) Stylus Studio leverages many java-based industry-standard XML processing components (Xalan-J, Saxon, etc.), and so a Java Runtime Environment is required (or a JDK, which contains a JRE) to access certain functionality. A new tutorial on Configuring a JRE/JDK to work with Stylus Studio has been posted here: http://www.stylusstudio.com/configure_jre.html

The tutorial covers:
* Supported JDK's and JRE's
* What Modules in Stylus Studio use Java?
* How to Install and Configure the JRE/JDK
* How to Compile Java Code in Stylus Studio (Optional)

Sincerely,
Stylus Studio Technical Support Team
