Robert MorrisSubject: Validation inconsistencies in the face of xs:include
Author: Robert Morris

The Home Edition has inconsistent behavior on a schema
which xs:include's another. If you try to validate
such a schema against the Schema for Schemas, the toolbar validation
interfaces carp that xs:include is not supported in the Home Edition.
But the interface on the XMLSchema menu at the top, which presumably
uses the internal parser, makes no such complaint.

(xs:include is really important and it would be a shame to
eliminate it from the Home Edition; it should be supported as widely
as possible)

Hi Robert,

If you're working with more advanced XML Schemas that use xs:include or xs:import, please try using Stylus Studio 6 XML Professional Edition which fully supports these features. The Home Edition is more geared towards casual student or home users. A free trial of Stylus Studio 6 XML Professional Edition is available for free download at: http://www.stylusstudio.com/xml_download.html
