Can eXcelon Stylus Studio be
integrated into Documentum Web Publisher ver: 4.4.1.42 ?

I don't know the Documentum product; however, reading the description of
the current version (v. 5.0) on their web site, I would say the only way
they can achieve the integration with Microsoft Office and Macromedia
Dreamweaver is by using WebDAV.
And Stylus does support browsing/reading/writing WebDAV and FTP sources, so
I think you can use Stylus to edit the content inside Documentum.
In the case they don't use WebDAV, you can always use their FTP adapter.

Before you read reply please note that I am a user just like you and I am sharing my experience with you.

So this is what I feel...
Answer to your question depends on how tight integration you want. If you are looking for full functionality of WebPublisher mostly answer is no. Unfortunately there is no published api for Stylus Studio. So you cannot create your plugins to do check in/checkout and docbase browsing.

What I did ....
I associated the xml extension to Stylus Studio on my desktop. In the content template I specified "use external editor application" and used web publisher for documentum interaction. When I check out a document using webpublisher it downloads the document to my desktop and because of xml extension opens SS.
