When mapping from a schema to a dtd, where the schema includes another schema file (with a namespace reference), saving and/or switch to the XSLT source view leads to presentation of a Stylus Studio error message popup with the following text: "Mapper data population failed!". If I merge the parent and sub schemas together, eliminating the separate namespace reference, the error does not occur. However, the intent is for the sub schema to be leveraged (as a base) across a number of top level schemas. Within your tool, these schemas validate together and validate against a sample XML document written accordingly, so they are apparently well/properly formed. Is the Excelon Stylus data mapper unable to support multiple namespaces? Please advise. Thank you!

hi, victor

Currently mapper does not handle multiple namespace from xsd schema. I'll
file a PCR for this.

but in your exmaple, I don't see multiple namespace, you have only one
targetNamesapce in MemberEnrollment.xsd, it shouldn;t have any problem. If
you do have multiple targetNamespace definition in your schema files, I
would suggest you to use the xml instance file(I believe you must have it
that comply with your schema) as the source when you do mapping...

It would be very helpful if you can send us your two schema files and the
xml file comply with the shcema.
