I have tried to use the commandline tool and it always expects the full path of the files to use, which leads to long command lines and mistakes.

That was fixed some time ago (before BL69).

I double checked it, and it seems to work as expected; file paths are
interpreted relative to the current working directory (the directory where
stylusxslt.exe is).

A command like this works fine on our machines:

C:\Program Files\eXcelon Corp\Stylus Studio\bin>stylusxslt
...\examples\quotes\your-quotes.xml ..\examples\quotes\your-quotes.xsl

Can you give us more details about what Stylus Studio build you are running
and with what command you are having troubles?

The example below shows what I mean. I want to be able to call:


C:\mydirectory>C:\Program Files\eXcelon Corp\Stylus Studio\bin\stylusxslt your-quote.xml your-quote.xsl

inother words, Stylus should pick my working directory and not its own.

Yup; that's more than reasonable.
