Did you watch the EDI to XML tutorial?
http://www.stylusstudio.com/videos/EDItoXMLPart1/editoxmlPart1.html

What happens when you click the green triangle button in the toolbar?

This forum is for Stylus Studio, we do not provide support for any other products.

Stylus Studio generates EDI definitions using SEF format which is the industry standard. What you are showing is an XML grammar proprietary to a software vendor.

Our EDI to XML converter does not need a map, it can generate an XML representation out of any supported EDI message automatically.

I am trying to find a solution to get data from sql server to send 852 and receive 856 back into our system. Currently, I am using SSIS to do many of the EDI.

How can Stylus Studio able to automate the creation of 852 from sql server?

Can you provide some direction if that is possible?

Thanks.

Stylus Studio is a development tool for designing data transformation.

You can design an XQuery program to access SQL server data and outputs EDI.

In order to automate such transformation you will have to license XML Pipeline Server https://www.xmlpipelineserver.com
