When I try to save an xml document, Sylus Studio crashes and post send error message dialg box.

Did you send the error reports?

Which Stylus Studio version are you running (Help -> About)?

Which Java Virtual Machine Stylus Studio is using (Help -> About)?

The only error is the standard Window Error Dialog, Send Error Message

Stylus Studio has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

That usually indicates a problem with the Java installation on
the machine.

You might want to upgrade; 2006r2 was before Java 6.0 and, if
I recall correctly, even before 5.0, so if you are using either
of those, we don't guarantee compatibility.

2006r3 is a free update which might help you.
