2. Another doubt i want 2 change thepatient name daphene to joyce how 2 do it and how 2 know how many r there in xml i mean the nodes. Can u tell me about DOM. Please do help me. Its my wrk.

Josephine,
it's really difficult to understand what you are looking for; and your questions seems to be unrelated to the Stylus Studio product - or even XQuery in general.

You may want to try some more general discussion list, like the xsl-list run by Mulberry Technologies.
