 Subject: new to XQuery- "expected cardinality" Author: sean s Date: 04 Apr 2006 08:22 AM

Hello everyone.
I'm pretty stuck with a language that is very new to me and would be grateful for some help.
I receive the following error message, and am not even sure which file it is referring to:
"The actual type of the value for parameter 2 does not match the sequence type declared in the signature of function: transform:transform($a as node?, $b as item, $c as node?) node?. Expected cardinality: exactly one, got 0."
This message emerges when I attempt to open the xql file.
The collection consists of a xql, xml, xsd, xslt and css file.
The xql file contains the following:
---
xquery version "1.0";
declare namespace transform = "http://exist-db.org/xquery/transform";
let $gameList := doc('/db/gameList.xml'),
$stylesheet := doc('/db/gameList.xslt')
return
transform:transform ($gameList,$stylesheet,())
---
Is the error likely to be in here somewhere.
I appreciate the answer to the problem is most likely elementary, but any suggestions are most welcomed.
Thank you very much
