Hello,
please advise how to use a local variable in the <xsl:text> element.
I have a following piece of code which should work. But it is throwing an error currently:
This is a recursive template::
<xsl:template name="closeLevels">
<xsl:param name="curr_level"/>
<xsl:param name="foll_level"/>
<xsl:variable name="diff_level" select="$curr_level - $foll_level"/>
<xsl:choose>
<xsl:when test="$diff_level = 0">
<xsl:variable name="vLevel" select="concat('<','/in:lev',$foll_level,'>')"/>
<xsl:text>$vLevel</xsl:text>
</xsl:when>
<xsl:otherwise>
<xsl:variable name="vLevel" select="concat('<','/in:lev',$curr_level,'>')"/>
<xsl:text>$vLevel</xsl:text>
<xsl:call-template name="closeLevels">
<xsl:with-param name="curr_level" select="$curr_level - 1"/>
<xsl:with-param name="foll_level" select="$foll_level"/>
</xsl:call-template>
</xsl:otherwise>
</xsl:choose>
</xsl:template>
pLEASE ADVISE.
THANKS,
NILESH CHAVAN

You need to use value-of
<xsl:text><xsl:value-of select="$vLevel"/></xsl:text>
