Tarcisio FernandesSubject: Null tags int the target document
Author: Tarcisio Fernandes

Hi..

I would like to know if someone knows a way to create empty tags in the target document automatically. What means that all unlinked nodes will be created as as empty tag.

Thanks
Tarcísio

Hi Tarcisio,
unfortunately this is not currently possible; we'll log a request for a future update of Stylus.

Thanks,
Alberto

Hello,

Is this already possible?
I have the same problems and would like to have a feature which prevents the empty tags from being created in the target file.

Thanks,
Jordy

Hi Jordy,
what the other user was asking was a way for XSLT Mapper to create elements in the target schema even if there wasn't a link providing data for it, and this is now available with the setting "Create an empty element for each unlinked node that is required by the associated schema".
What you are asking looks different: you want *not* to generate an empty element. Are you referring to elements generated by your XSLT code, or by this feature of Mapper?

Alberto
