Archie CampbellSubject: Adding 7 days to a date element
Author: Archie Campbell
Date: 29 Jan 2007 03:02 PM
I am a very happy Stylus Studio Enterprise customer.

I have an .XSL file that is mainly doing some simple renaming of XML data.
There is one task that I am stuck on.
I have a date element that looks like 2007-01-29
I need to add a 7 days to it, (producing in this case 2007-02-05).

Am I able to do this in XSLT 2.0?

Thanks
Archie Campbell

XSLT 2.0 does indeed include date math.
You can switch to the Saxon processor to use them.

The EXSLT pages also list some functions for date
math that some XSLT 1.0 processors support as
extensions. See http://www.exslt.org/date/index.html

Thanks Tony.
