Ron ZimmermanSubject: format-number issue

In transforming and XML file to a text file using the Stylesheet portion of your software, I cannot make the format-number function work. I want the output field to contain 8 whole numbers and 4 decimals, like 99999999.9999. No matter which combination I try I get unexpected '0' in the pattern, malformed pattern, or the program hangs. Is this possible and if it is can you give the correct syntax.

Here is a sample of what I've tried:

<xsl:value-of select="format-number(qty_ordered, '0#.0000')"/>

This gives me the unexpected '0' in the pattern.

Thanks,
Ron

"00000000.0000" should do what you are looking for.
