We are using Stylus Studio Framework 5.0, build 127b. Has any changes been made to enveloping, XML structure, or version for XML Maps? Is it necessary to upgrade and if so, will it affect the XML maps already in places?

I'm assuming you are referring to XSLT Mapper? Many changes and improvements have been made, but as the only meta-information we keep in XSLT Mapper in addition to the XSLT itself is about source/destination documents and position of blocks, you should be able to just open your existing mappings in v2007 and use them.

You can easily try it downloading the free trial available from http://www.stylusstudio.com/download; it won't interfere with your current installation/license.

Let us know if you find out any specific problems.
