Well, if the field names were on the first line, it would be very
quick, as you could do
File|Open, choose the file, check the box 'open with xml converter',
and then choose the CSV converter. One of the options is to read the
labels from the first line.
But, since they are not, you'll need to create a custom converter.
File|New|Custom XML Converter
choose your input file
Then, right-click on the line that starts with 'Base' and
choose the option 'get labels from this line'.
Now when you click the green triangle to run, it will convert it to
XML.

Tony,
Everything work as planned now. I have an XML file from my CSV file.
-just a brief history, I uninstalled the Professional version, and installed the Enterprise edition. I then followed the steps you mentioned, (and shown in the video). The conversion went smooth and accurate, and I was able to get the XML I was looking for.
Now that I know Stylus Studio can do what I am looking to do, how do I start learning more about the software as what I am really after is a script for/inside my Autocad or Excel software/file (or batch conversion of lots of the independently created CSV files from each of those Autocad or Excel schedules)
I have a price quote of $500 dollars to create a program that can do conversions from inside AutoCad. I was thinking of options.
If you want to chime in on this post, I would appreciate it, however, I do not have anymore technical question, over this thread.
Thanks for your help,
Aloha,
Dean Tidwell
