Hi,
I am trying to convert a fixed width flat file into xml. Is there any way, we can define width for each of the fields. Some times there may be no external separator and fields may have to be separated depending on the width.

regards
Venkat

Just set the region type to 'fixed-width'.

In custom XML Conversion editor, there is a button 'Begin Field' which allows you to define the start of a new field in fixed width region. This way, one can define the fields and set their properties.

Thanks & Regards
Venkat
