Subject:Stylus Studio 2008 Release 2 - No debug support for Xalan-J 2.7.x Author:Glenn Roberts Date:01 Oct 2008 04:35 AM
I have just installed Stylus Studio 2008 Release 2 prior to purchase. It is a good job as it doesn't contain the specific feature which you advertise that I needed - Xalan-J support with debug.
I need to use Xalan-J for historic reasons, doing work for a large corporate, and also I would like to use the advanced SQL query support to minimise Java extensions, so I don't have an option (Saxon's equivalent is too primitive.)
I know from previous experience that you have a quality product, but I have just embarrassed myself by lobbying to replace the incombant product, Oxygen, based on features you no longer support.
I presume now that you are NOT going to support Xalan-J as I believe from other posts this has been the sitation for more than 1 year. If this is correct can I recommend to avoid confusing further potential buyers that you remove information on Xalan_J debug support from your website:
