Glenn BrandSubject: Apache FOP

We have just begun to use Apache FOP. We would love to use RenderX but our business model would not work with thier pricing.

Meantime we found that Apache FOP 0.94 was putting borders around every row in a table if we turned on borders for the table. That is the style was solid, width was 1.

When we upgraded to Studio 2008 we found that the Apache 0.20 was downloaded. It seemed to behave as expected.

What is your opinion of which Apache FOP version to use.

That's not really up to us to tell. All new development is happening on Apache FOP 0.94; I would probably try using that one. If you see behaviors that seem to be bugs, I'm sure the Apache FOP folks will be interested in hearing about them and correcting them.
