Cassidy HuntSubject: DB to XML Parameters
Author: Cassidy Hunt

I am trying to figure out how to pass parameters to the select statement performed in the DB to XML file.

For example:

select id, description from part where id = :part_id

:part_id is my paramter that I would like to specify each time. The reason for this is if I just do the blanket request of select id, description from part then I get over 6 million records returned which isn't the best use.

I might be using the wrong method to do this so I am open to anything.

Thanks

Cassidy

Cassidy,

DB to XML doesn't support parametrized query.
Please have a look to how to query relational data using DataDirect XQuery

Hope this helps
