First learn TeX and lisp and Standard ML, then you can answer most XSL-FO
questions by assuming it's the same as TeX, but with pointy brackets,
and you can answer most xslt questions by assuming it's lisp with
pointy brackets. The remaining finer points pick up from the REC (or
rather, earlier working drafts thereof.)
