RE: Problems with XALAN parsing an xml with a namespac
I decalre the complete name space as it is present in the XML i get. My name space declaration looks like this : <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:fo="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Format" xmlns:s="uuid:BDC6E3F0-6DA3-11d1-A2A3-00AA00C14882" xmlns:dt="uuid:C2F41010-65B3-11d1-A29F-00AA00C14882" xmlns:rs="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:rowset" xmlns:z="#RowsetSchema"> As seen "xmlns:rs="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:rowset" is present. The error appears for some other reason. I guess it is because of the xmlns:z="#RowsetSchema", coz whenever i knock off the # in both my xml and XSL , it works fine. -Satish -----Original Message----- From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of David Carlisle Sent: Wednesday, February 11, 2004 3:44 PM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Problems with XALAN parsing an xml with a namespace having a # The error message is quite cler it seems: Unable to resolve prefix 'rs'. your XPath uses an rs prefix, so you need to declare that as a namespace prefic in your stylesheet. Add xmlns:rs="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:rowset" to your xsl:stylesheet element.
