xsl value at position
Hello David,

Idea is to see if A, B or C are available as values.

I have resolved the issue by using variables for each location and then
testing variable against A, B and C values..it works fine

For example
<xsl:variable name=location1>
	<xsl:value-of select=//lomp/location[1]>
</xsl:variable>

<xsl:variable name=location2>
	<xsl:value-of select=//lomp/location[2]>
</xsl:variable>

Now testing location1, if it has value A, B or C

Its probably not the perfect way but it works fine!

Regards,

I have difficulty guessing what you might intend this to mean.
position() and last() return numbers, so position()=last()-2 will be
either true or false depending on those values, but it will never be the
string 'A' Actually XSLT will cast the string 'A' to the boolean true
(as it is not empty) but that is unlikely to be what you intended.

Since I can't guess what this is supposed to do, I can;t suggest any
alternative.

David
