W3C is essentially a collection of individuals. Most of them are hard-pressed to keep up with W3C work as well as jobs within their own companies. Few of them have time to monitor lists like this one. Don't assume that because you make a lot of noise, that it is audible to many people who spend their time on W3C work. There are proper channels for providing feeback to W3C, use them, and don't assume that shouting in the wind is good enough. Having said that, you are trying to change the direction of a tanker when at least half the crew who are steering it are firmly convinced it is going in the right direction, and is within sight of land; so even if you get people to hear you, you have a challenge ahead to convince them. And they aren't morons, either. Michael Kay Software AG home: Michael.H.Kay@xxxxxxxxxxxx work: Michael.Kay@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
