(in testing I've build a tree fragment as the content of a variable, and used 'msxsl:node-set($variable)/XPath-expression' to access the nodes) hehe, this is why RTF's are banished in XSLT, unfortunately u must use a custom node-set extension function, or possibly bring in your xml from another set of processing through <xsl:param/> or document(), which changes the structure of your xml/xslt. the only nice thing is that the nodeset extension is present in all the major xslt processors. cheers, jim fuller XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
