There is a Quark exchange format called XTags which is a plaintext representation of Quark's internal format. I think it was originally written to allow exchange of Quark files between Macs and PCs. It's available as an Xtension, so if you can get the documentation of the file format, it should be possible to write a text-mode XSLT transformation to output an XTags file which Quark can read in. Failing that, write a transformation to RTF, which I think Quark can read, or open the XML in WordPerfect/XML, do a stylesheet, and Save As...Word, then open that in Quark. Quark are apparently developing (may already have developed) an XML import filter of their own, but I have no further information. This would be a welcome change, as they have been violently hostile to SGML-based systems in the past. ///Peter XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
