I am not sure for what purposes the portal uses the 'URL' node but the provider finds & unacceptable. I have tried using %26 instead (using a test html page with an <A href="http://bob.com?a=1%26b=2>boo</A>) but this fails when it hits the ASP page. --- Julian Reschke <julian.reschke@xxxxxx> wrote: > > From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On > Behalf Of Nicholas > > Pearse > > Sent: Thursday, June 07, 2001 4:40 PM > > To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > Subject: RE: ASP querystring in xmlnode > ampersand problem > > > > > > This does not work. > > > > The client is a portal, they want the data back in > a > > given format (an industry standard DTD) in order > to be > > able to view a particular document they need the > > contents (a hyperlink) of a a node called URL > > So you are actually producing XML (not HTML)? > > Then I don't understand why somebody would claim > that "&" is not the > correct way to encode an ampersand... > > > > XSL-List info and archive: > http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list > ===== ____________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
