Can anyone on the list please give an XSLT beginner a good 'starting' book recommendation?
You may wish to wait until next week, or download it today and again next week. I am publishing the Ninth Edition (ISBN 1-894049-06-3) today (in a background process as I type here) and will replace the free previews if everything is successful. Customers can expect notifications of their free updates over the weekend. I have only introduced the new XSLT 1.1 concepts in a new chapter, without details and without yet changing the body of the book. I will await the finalized XSLT 1.1 before changing the book to reflect all of the new issues. As usual, customers will continue to get notifications of their free updates when that edition is published ... that way, every customer always has the most up-to-date version of the book as the technology changes. For those of you who have a copy from your internal intranets through site-wide staff licenses, or world-wide staff licenses, only your primary contact will be notified of your free update. I hope this helps. .......................... Ken
