Seems I have to think about performance ...
If you look at the algorithm, it is really unefficient.
The test if a node has an equivalent partner in the other node set
will be done in every pass.

Perhaps. But I'm sure there is definitely a way to optimize my stylesheet,
without knowledge about the input XML.
