I have to agree - prefixes are a great help to maintaining emails. I get 300 from various lists a day and the prefix ones are nicely redirected to designated folders. steven Author Pro XML http://www.wrox.com/Consumer/Store/Details.asp?ISBN=1861003110 Pro Site Server 3, Wrox Press http://www.wrox.com/Consumer/Store/Details.asp?ISBN=1861002696 Pro Site Server 3.0 Commerce Edition, Wrox Press http://www.wrox.com/Consumer/Store/Details.asp?ISBN=1861002505 Steven Livingstone Glasgow, Scotland. 07771 957 280 or +447771957280 -----Original Message----- From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Henri Yandell Sent: 16 April 2000 17:18 To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: XSL-List admin query With respect to the XSL-LIST: prefix on the subject, filtyering isn`t the only reason to want to know the type of email. My main use for the prefix on mail lists is to know which emails are urgent or unique and which ones are 'save for laters'. Having a prefix would be stunningly useful just to know what priority to put on reading the email.
