I forgot to mention that, I don't keep the uploaded XML and XSD documents on the server file system, after the validation is complete (which occurs immediately after the XML and XSD documents are successfully uploaded). This helps me conserve site disk space, and also protect user privacy (i.e I've no way to find what is within the uploaded XML and XSD documents).
