At the moment, element names like foo:bar are not allowed in MicroXML,
which is what I was trying to express. The only way to give an element
a namespace is using the xmlns attribute. Attributes are allowed to
have prefixes and are bound with xmlns:foo attributes, as in XML.

In any case, the work proposed for xml:* elements is now being done by
xml-* PIs, and MicroXML accommodates them just fine.

Thine alabaster cities gleam undimmed by human tears!
America! America! God mend thine every flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control, thy liberty in law!
