Re: Micro XSD for Micro XML?
MicroRNG Wow, that's cool! I guess the potential MicroXML users might think themselves only likely to use a schema language like this now and then, so having one which only requires them to be able to handle what these 16 lines define might be worth their time learning. The shortage of desktop tools which work on RelaxNG might be a little offputting (hence my sadness at being unable to complete a MicroXSD subset which allows both a schema to be written in MicroXML and editing / validating by existing XSD tools). So how 'easy' would it be to include this in validating MicroXML parsers (if there ever are such things)? Perhaps easier than having to implement something like XSD which isn't valid as XSD; perhaps less risky anyway. ---- Stephen D Green On 24 December 2010 08:00, Dave Pawson <firstname.lastname@example.org> wrote: > From the man who knows a little about everything :-) > http://recycledknowledge.blogspot.com/2010/12/microrng.html > A 16 line schema for uxml. > > The scope seems about right to me. > > > > -- > > regards > > -- > Dave Pawson > XSLT XSL-FO FAQ. > http://www.dpawson.co.uk >
