If you go to your kitchen and look in the 'fridge door, you'll see
a screwdriver rack and a device for holding screws. It's there to
make life easier for the people building or repairing the fridge.

OK, no, you won't see such a thing...

CDATA sections are primarily there for people writing the XML
specification, to make it easier to include examples, and I think
of them in much the same way as I'd think of a tool rack in my
fridge :-)
