Call for Speakers Closes March 15 DataServices World New York City (June 24, 2008) The complexities of distributed processing and the importance of middleware can elude even senior technical people, including enterprise architects, IT managers, consultants and designers. Enterprise developers embraced the separation of presentation, data services and application logic. Internet computing, web services and service-oriented architecture (SOA) continued a trend towards moving data access and data integration logic into a separate data services layer. The data services layer, databases and data access are the focus of DataServices World. We're looking for technical presentations about architecture and solutions for data access and data integration from heterogeneous data sources including XML, SQL tables, geo-coded data, content management systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, data warehouses, and web data. Topics of interest include: · End-to-end performance optimization: (database, metadata, data distribution, caching, query tuning, load balancing, protocols, data services) · Information as a service · Data services development: architecture, tools · Data services enabling technology: JDBC, JNDI, Hibernate, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, DWR, LINQ, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, Astoria, etc. · Essential capabilities for effective, robust, secure data services If you're interested in speaking, you must submit a proposal by March 15, 2008.
