played with Ajax over multiple browsers, ws-*, or any of the other local 
delights lately? EDI/ebXMl for anyone? Too much to hope for ease and 
convenience by 2027?

Of course I don't blame those trying hard to set these standards. But as 
I look on my desk/laptop at yet another non-standard set of requirements 
- this time in the over standardised transport industry - I despair of 
any chance that we'll see usable formats.

And who is responsible for this deplorable state of affairs? Ignorant IT 
people of course.

2050 and OOXML is looking like a walk in the path ...
