RE:  Avoding a repeat of W3C XSD - was Re:  Is Web 2.0
Something of note:  when we went to the W3C-led processes for 
recommendations, it brought in lots of new blood, new processes, 
new tools for communications, and so on.  It was a disruptor to 
the standards processes as practiced by professionals at the time.
