You asked for a professional product free of the problems of the kind XML Schema has created. I recommend professionals. If the myths you live by don't fit that recommendation, ignore it. I think you don't know how to pick professionals for a job. There are more failures from the self-constituted groups of amateur standards writers than there are successes. You are going to quote back to me the few notable successes from the amateurs but they are fewer than their counterparts. Don't confuse myth for math. Myths are there to inform, but they rarely compute. It is the customer that has to pick the brand; it is the salesman that brands. As a result, once any constituted group has completed it's work, it has little to no say about what a thing is called or how it is applied. len From: Michael Kay [mailto:mike@s...] > Pay reputable professionals to design critical components. > > It works for business. It isn't grassroots and it doesn't > make for media-likable myths. It does work. It sometimes creates successes and it sometimes creates failures, but it rarely creates standards. In fact, standards committees that are stuffed with paid consultants are the least successful, in my experience.
