Hello Alan,
Alan said:
Oy! "Truth". That's worse that "facts". ;^)
Didier replies:
Truth is always in flux. What is important is the process used to define it
and how a group works to ground it with facts. Truth is an ideal and a
certain philosophy of science named epistemology tries to define the process
to achieve a small part of it. Its only when dogma replaces facts and the
"search for truth" that regression or stagnation takes place. As long as you
are not quite sure you get the "truth" you work hard to understand. When you
thing you get the "truth" you regress into dogma. It's the process, the
quest for truth which is important, not getting it per se.
Cheers
