Years of experience has taught me to be really careful when anybody says "all I want is a simple system that just....". The reality is that stuff like that is always far from simple, no matter how simple you try to make it. The devil is always in the detail. An xml based system like that is not something that can be knocked out in a weekend... "there are just too many function points" to quote the classic software development phrase. and if you are lucky enough to do that sort of thing for a living then you probably have no interest in doing it as a "freebie". Maybe you should have a look at JBoss and .net. I would be surprised if they couldn't be made to do what you are after. David -- Computergrid : The ones with the most connections win.
