I do not understand your explanations from the home page.
Off-topic: your "documentation" is extremely cryptic. Three month
ago I had to loose 2 hours just to figure out how to use the various
switches on XSV. I don't think I am stupid, it’s just that when you are
a complete beginner you have so many doubts on each step: you don't
know for sure what a schema is, how it should be used, if the schema
that you are using is correct a.s.o. The net result is that you are
never sure why something is not working.
In the first week I did not know that I can apply an XSLT
transformation to see the output from XSV in a nice manner. I
continuously asked myself why you choose such an awkward output format
?! Like I said, one week later all become clear to me.
I am not saying all of this to you just to make complaints but in
order to change this state of affairs. I understand that you are very
busy and that you do not have time to write a proper documentation
(after all you have already done the hardest part - that is writing
XSV). If you are interested I can write the documentation for you. IMO
a proper documentation to XSV should be found on its web page or a link
to such a doc should be provided on the home page. Please tell me what
your thoughts on the matter are.
3) I _think_ you are using an out-of-date version of XSV -- compare
your version number to that reported on the home-page.
I am using XSV 2.8.1 - the latest one.
4) This topic is probably better addressed on xmlschema-dev@w3.org, or
in private email to me.
