I really like what Dave Orchard has to say about versioning and
extensibility in XML.
There are various articles at Dave's blog, on XML.com, and Dare
Obasanjo's comments at MSDN,
but perhaps the best way to find them is with Google:
http://www.google.com/search?q=xml+extensibility+orchard

Dave raises some good questions, and exposes some of the unnecessary
constraints that XML Schema places.
I'm still grappling with the issues and hoping that the community comes
up with good solutions.

Leigh.

...What I am really trying to understand is "what is flexibility" ?
