use of xslt.rnc or xslt.xsd?

xslt xsd
There were some XSLT 1.0 DTDs kicking around, starting with Appendix C of
the XSLT 1.0 Rec, but they didn't work very well because DTDs couldn't
support namespaces and had no way of describing the role of literal result
elements.

The nxml emacs mode comes with a very useful RELAX NG Compact schema for
XSLT 1.0, and since its release Norm Walsh has created a revised version for
XSLT 2.0. Can anyone tell me of any use of these schemas outside of nxml, or
of any use of the two or three W3C Schemas for XSLT 1.0 stylesheets that are
floating around? Private e-mail is fine.

thanks,
