Not really.  But we might come to understand 
why conformance testing and test marks are 
applied.  We might come to understand why 
consortia unbound by process become predatory. 
We might come to recognize the differences 
among the organizations that say they produce 
standards by their means instead of their charms.

to solve the misuse of the word standard on this list?
