No, that's not how they do it. I just turned off JavaScript and cookies, went to amazon, and successfully added an item to my cart. I think they do it through extensive URL rewriting. Remember a GET request can run a program on a server just as easily as a POST request. A POST cannot do anything a GET can't do. The difference is that a POST operation should not be cached or repeated because it may obligate the client, while a GET is supposed to be SAFE. -- Elliotte Rusty Harold elharo@m...
