Well, if I recall correctly, from a thermodynamics point of view no
system can be noise free.  The qualification might be unless it is in
absolute equilibrium (though there is not such thing in reality), but
then that sort of implies your system wouldn't be doing anything.

In-other-words, I'd bet that Shannon would say no....
