For now, I want to see why people here seem to believe that it (rnc) is far
superior. 

I currently use XML Schema for an in browser XML editor (using IE's SOM &
DOM). We also can use it editing in MS Word 2003. 

I like XML syntax over RNC because I use XSL transformations to produce HTML
forms, JavaScript and java interfaces/implementations.
