Go to www.xfront.com. Roger Costello has a schema for units of measurement. You could comment that for the conversions. If so, be sure to return your comments to Roger. len -----Original Message----- From: David Baer [mailto:david@s...] Sent: Thursday, October 16, 2003 10:06 AM To: xml-dev@l... Subject: XM-Resource for unit conversion Hello everybody, For my diploma work I'm looking for a resource of a desciription of measurement units. For example there should be listed "inch" and then the multiplication factor to "meter"... I've seen there are several discussions for standards underway, but so far it does not seem that a common schema has been aggreed at. However, I think there should be some kind of unit-description around. Does anyone know of any such resource? any hint are most welcome! thank you! david ----------------------------------------------------------------- The xml-dev list is sponsored by XML.org <http://www.xml.org>, an initiative of OASIS <http://www.oasis-open.org> The list archives are at http://lists.xml.org/archives/xml-dev/ To subscribe or unsubscribe from this list use the subscription manager: <http://lists.xml.org/ob/adm.pl>
