That was going to be thus, WBXML is a very simplistic approach to the problem. I had a chance to talk with a number of mobile players at 3GPP two weeks ago, and the reason it did interest them (and why bInfosets still does) is because gzip is apparently costly on the battery life (it requires the CPU to run at full speed whereas they often try to slow it down). -- Robin Berjon
