xml usages
Here's another example, part case study and prototype implementation of a production system, part research project. After all, it's a Masters thesis :-)

Basically, we're trying to build a non-trivial web-based workflow framework and reference application w/o writing any script or application code (or at least as little as possible), and putting as much logic as we could into XML.

Recently somebody posted on this list that some "real life examples" about
XML usages are missing. Giving some more thoughts on this statement I came
to the conclusion that it not a lack of projects that is missing but a lack
of knowledge about them. There are no publications about successful XSLT
implementations or said differently a place we can go to an read about "real
life" case studies.

Trying to remediate this situation and to get a break from recurrent XML
dev's weather turning quite often into political storms, I probed the web
and found an application that several web marketers or "affiliates" are
using to "pre-sell" Amazon products.
